Final Email 10-24-2015

This last week was amazing We taught our investigators three of which will be getting baptised this next week after I leave. And it was awesome to see these lessons help them come closer to God and progress in the Gospel. I had the Chance to teach Michal the Priest and Prophet this last week and He has just learned so much. he is truely Elect and I am so grateful for him. I love him and I will have to keep in touch with him. Another Investigator has had a hard time with her family but needless to say has chosen to be baptised and next week will be getting baptised. One women that has know that church for a long long time has also decided on being baptised in feburary of next year and she got to hear the story of a member and her conversion as well as see the Joseph Smith Film which helped her ask question and learn. A Man with No faith in God and that Doesn't understand why we need to believe in him commited to read in the book of mormon and pray on his own. Showing God that he is willing to learn if God exists. we also Gave two trainings. The Greatest part. We were sick but God gave us the strength to do it all. He gave us the challenge and We excepted it and we taught and testified anyways.

I wanted to have this be the close My testimony.

I want you to know this.

I Believe in Christ. He is Gods son. He came, He taught, He blessed and served, he suffered, and He died for us and for our mistakes, sins and short comings. I also Believe and have gained a testimony that becomes stronger as i share it and listen to others that HE LIVES. He is with us to day, every step. encouraging us and lifting us. He has given us prophets scriptures, a connection to God through Prayer, the Gospel and everything we need so that we can return to The Father. Everything has been done and it's up to us to except it. I want to return to God and I know that the only way is through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Christ. Our savior, redeemer, advocate, lekar, friend and brother. I Know he loves us and I know that he is there for us. This is his church and this is his Gospel. I will follow him, I will continue to search out answers and I will remember that revelation comes in different ways and by different means. When we have a question we can knock and it is our job to ask. Heavenly Father will hear and He will answer. This i have learned from experience and from my personal growth while I have been in the Czech republic and is Slovakia. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I love you all and will see you next week

So this week I wanted to make sure that I am staying focused and Working harder then ever. We have had some amazing experiences. I have been able to share my ponderizing verse to many over the course of this last week, it has helped me. We have had amazing lessons with amazing people. Over the course of the last couple weeks. we have been meeting with people who have been wanting and progressing towards baptism. They have really been doing wonderful.

A highlight of this week was when my companion told me to be more personal in my conversations with people on the street. It really hit me that i had gotten into the mode of saying the same things over and over again. and I realized that I needed to be more personal so that people see what the message means and can do for all of us. So My thought this week is for you to, like the scriptures and president Monson share in General Conference, Let you light so shine so that everyone can see it. Make it meaningful and make it you. This is your chance to lift and encourage someone else that needs you and needs Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more in there lifes.

I love you all.

WOW I really am amazing how every six month we get Christmas or i mean General Conference. It is so awesome i have never had such an amazing experience. Truely going into Conference with a question is amazing. It helps me pay more attention and I am loving it.

We had our amazing friend come to conference today and it was a wonderful experience for all of us. In our last lesson with him we heard his testimony and it was so wonderful and great. This is truly the Power of God helping him learn. He is doing so awesome.

There have been some wonderful parts of this week. We had an exchange with some Elders that are doing awesome. We ran into a woman who is not a member but works of the Magazines for General Conference and has wanted to talk with missionaries for a long time but they were always talking with someone else or they wouldn't go up and talk to her. Well she does on a trip to prague for one day ends up hurting her tooth, ends up going to a dentist by our building and right after we stop her she goes wait are you Mormons? we said yes, and she told us her story. We gave her a tour of the building and she was so happy. we gave her a book of mormon and we exchanged contact. she wants to meet with missionaries there in her town.

Well we had so many more miracles and i have learned the importance of silence in lessons and letting the Spirit come and teach this week. There is a difference teaching with and without the spirit. We all member and missionaries must always strive to have the spirit with us. It is so worth it. and i know that with all my heart.

thank you for all that you do for me i love you all and hope you have a wonderful day.

We had a great week we have been teaching like crazy. we just got news this last week that one women we teach will be able to and wants to be baptized by the end of this year. Another Young man is working towards baptism and he is coming to the baptism we have today. Everything has been awesome he has truly been one of the most sincere people i have ever taught he is so cool. The sister in our district have been working with this man that will be baptized today and everything just seemed to fall into place for them. The Lord lives he is really and he helps us with everything I know it, i do my best to live it, because i love it and i love the Lord.

sorry it is so short this week but we have to go. I love you all.

Well this week was awesome we have to go to a lesson so i will be really quick.

We got to have some great exchanges and i got to meet a lot of cool people. This last week i also got to watch meet the mormons with some investigators. It is such a strong movie and it is a wonderful way to share the gospel with others and strengthen our own testimonies.

We not only got to have a training with our zone but we also got to teach with President McConkie and learn from other missionaries while on exchanges. I guess you could say it was a learning week for Elder Karjalainen and I and it was awesome. Well i love you all and hope you had a great week.

well got to go  cau.

Elder Tingey wanted to say hello

Sisters at the zoo

Well everyone we have had a great week and i am so grateful that i get to serve with Elder Karjalinen and here in Prague and this is such a great blessing to be here on a mission.

Everyday is worth it. Hard, good, bad, easy, fun, hot, cold, rain, or snow. Every single one has helped me grow and come to know my father in Heaven and that his plan is the Perfect one. These amazing blessing that I would never have know had i now gone on a mission. I am not perfect but i am trying and that is wonderful in Gods eyes. I want to invite you to do something this week that is KEEP TRYING and or START TRYING not just going with it but TRY. If you want to change sometime do what you can. If you want to repent and do better then DO IT. No one but you can stop you. That is what we know because we are children of God his sons and his daughter. He will help us overcome anything.

This is part of life to learn and to grow. That means we must keep trying. Forgive and forget. Dont be afraid to make mistakes and say sorry. Learn from them and let God lift you. It is after His "Amazing Grace."

We had so many great lessons with so many great people this last week if you could pray for Michal, monika, and martin. These are three investigators that are working towards baptism and all have the chance for amazing spiritual experiences coming up and so we will pray for them.

mám vás rad.

So really quick i love you all and we have to go to sports night but we had an amazing week.

we have been finding a lot of people and a lot of people have been coming to meeting that we have set up with them. We have found young men and women that as we have just opened our mouths they have listened and come to see if it is true. It is so cool to see the promises of the Lord fulfilled.

We have worked hard and the Lord has helped us find all the people that are looking for him. I love it here and everyone we are finding. I am happy and i will keep going hard even past the end nothing can stop this work but i am going to make sure that i am doing everything i can to make sure it is going faster and doing all i can to help these people and the Lord.

well i love you all and hope you have a great week especially you Mom and Dad and Family.

I love you all

Guess who came back. My mission "father."

Theres Elder Brown

Hello Everyone,

So i have learned that we really don't have a lot of time to do very many things. So the reason i am writing on monday this week and that i didnt write on saturday was because i got to go back to slovakia for the week. We were able to take part in the wallace toronto service project in trencin. It was so awesome i basically got to see my entire mission all at once one last time in slovakia. it was so beautiful and i got to talk with members that i hadnt seen in a long time.

These people and the things that i am learning every day are amazing. I have learned and grown a lot out here and i still am every day.

being here in prague is great, it is so beautiful. We are meeting so many great people and it is funny because we are actually meeting a lot of slovaks. It is great we have been calling a lot of people that requested a visit a long time ago and they all the sudden have time to meet and one even excepted a baptismal date. We also are talking with everyone we can and i am learning a lot from Elder Karjalainen.

Well i have to go but here are some pictures.

Well for all you have that haven't noticed i am writing on a different day then usual. That is because i am now living in Prague and we have our p days on Saturday.

I am an assistant and it is an awesome experience to be here and work in a different country and with Elder Karjalainen. He is from Finland. He is so awesome and he works hard so i couldn't have asked for a better comp. to close my mission because God always helps us exactly how we need it. I also get to see president a little more.

I know a lot of people that are returning home right now and i just want to say thank you for your examples to me you. you have been great examples to me and helped me with so many things.

I am learning thank i also understand Czech and people understand when i speak Slovak so it is awesome.

Well we have met with members and friends of the church. And we are doing everything we can to work hard and lose ourselves.

I will have p day on saturdays and so that is when i will right about everything crazy from the week. please if anyone asks let them know that i am alive and i have made it to Prague in one piece. The Cool part is now i have the chance to serve in both sides that i will miss the slovak side so much maybe i will get to go back a couple times before i head home.

Well i love you and will talk to you on saturday. I hope all is going well and so that you know Elder Karjalainen is my new companion and he is from finland. It is so awesome. He speaks czech and i speak slovak and sometimes we dont understand each other but then we can double check in english but i really want to just speak slovak this transfer with him so we will see how that goes maybe i will even speak slovak and czech by the time i get home.

I love you and miss you and will see you soon enough but for now i am lost in the work now in Prague, Czech Republic. I am healthy and strong and doing all i can to keep doing what the Lord wants and helping these people.

it seems like every week i am in a hurry but this week we have a baptism and came together really fast so we have to hurry and got to make it to the baptism. I am doing great. We had to travel a lot to return the rental car we had and then once again stayed the night in the Czech Republic with some other Elders. After that we had an exchange and I got to go with Elder Christensen who i came to the field with. He was my mtc companion from hurricane. We had a lot of fun together and works good it was great. Well i love you all and hope you had a wonderful week that was full of joy and health.
wish you all the best. and to all of you. Never give up. Always have faith do all you can. Then God can step in and he will step in. God will take care of the rest.
well got to go

Well i will be fast because we found a library but had some troubles getting to the computers and then we had slow ones and then we found the good ones so now we are writing.
So this week was really very interesting and i went through things i had never thought i would do on my mission such as, coming home from MLC our car stopped working so we looked at it in a small village off the free way and then had to call a tow truck. luckly the small village was just 33 kilameters away from a city with missionaries in it so we get a rental and spent the night with the Elders in trebič in the czech republic. It was an adventure and it was fun but then we drove home the next day and now we have to go back tomorrow so uvidime (We will see).
Well we also ran into our friend of the church today on the street and she asked us when can we meet, it was a cool switch and she is really excited so we will be meeting with her tomorrow.
Anyways we have some wonderful miracles here and i am so glad to be a part of it i hope that you are all happy and healthy.

HOLY COW so this week was awesome we had some great lessons with less actives and with others all around. If i were to write them all it would take days.

Well we had a member come to us with some questions of anti stuff. We explained it and it turned into one of the most spiritual lessons i have ever had. We talked about Gods plan. It truely is wonderful. amazing infact. we are his children he is our heavenly father and he does have a plan for us to become like him. NOT MORE THEN HIM, but he does wish to give us all that he has. He will always be our father in heaven and he will always love us. It is on us to except it.

Also i have learned the power of scriptures in lessons. When we read and use the scriptures, in a loving not bible bashing way, then the spirit is invited and there it will be. They are a powerful tool for our salvation and they can open the windows of our understanding.

One day we were talking to one man and he didnt have much interest but was listening to our message. That is when out of no where a man comes up and say i know the book of mormon is true. The other man then turned us to him and was like look he is your man. and left. We then came to find out that this man is a less active member that we had no contact, no address, no number, and we were in a place at a time that we normally are not and he was there. God works through us if we let him and if we ask him to help us.

i know this is Gods church and that he has a plan

Hello Everyone,

So the libraries are still closed for the summer break so we are at a computer place.

Anyways we had a great week and some great miracles. we had a man that we had lost contact with find us during our district lunch. We had all sat down and we were about to head out to just go grab something quick because we were late do to the fact that we were teaching someone. anyways he saw us walk in and recognized the back of Elder Garners head. He came over to us and was like hello my friends. We found out that he had had to switch phones and that is why we had no contact with him. We set up to meet that night and then we started teaching him again. He is looking for the Answers and for something to fill the hole that is missing in him.

Also we had a woman come to church yesterday and that was really cool because she is so awesome and got to know the members really well.

Anyways those were two really cool things this week. we have to go so we can get everything in before i have an interview with President McConkie. I hope that you are all healthy and strong and that you have had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the week ahead. I will write again on monday.

So all the libraries, except one, in Bratislava have decided to close until the second week in August and so we are now emailing and i only have a couple of minutes again.

This week we had a fast and i had one of the greatest experiences i have ever had with fasting. I didnt see a vision or have something "big" happen but the peace i felt and the love i recieved for the Slovaks was real. Sometimes the things we need are not visions are physical answers to prayers but the feeling that God gives that mean more and surpass the words that men may say. We have been asked how can you believe that. I have also been asked do you really believe that. the thing is I DO BELIEVE. and i believe that one day i will come to such a knowledge of it that i no long have to say i believe but in fact i must proclaim the I know.

I believe that There is more then we know and can comprahend here on earth. I know that God hears me and that Jesus Christ is the sone of God. He loves us and so does God. More then we know. This is his work and through Joseph smith they restored the truth in full. President Thomas s monson is our prophet and I know that God works with us today, and shows us his love.

we finally found a library that was open to day so it is a miracle that i am writing but i have to go fast because it closes in ten minutes.

We had some great success this week with a lot of things like game night and church. we had the most people i have ever seen at game night ( we had 3 games of chess, one of ping pong, one game with five players of rummy cube and then i was practicing my piano skills.)

Church: a member mother that we work with, brought 4 of her 5 children to church and all of them loved it. They were having a wonderful time.

We also met with some awesome people that are so cool.

This week i saw the Lords Help in slovakia we are down a lot of missionaries and dont have a ton coming in until after i leave. However, the Lords hand is here and we are working harder then ever. As Zone leader i get to call 3 of the 5 district leaders in slovakia and talk with them once ever other week, then the other two the next, and holy crap it is amazing i have never seen the work here move so fast it is so awesome to be a part of it. I am happier then i have every been.

thank you all for everything. I Hope you have a great week

So this week was good.

We had a great exchange with the trencin Elders. I did an interview for baptism and then the lessons we had on plan fell through so we continued on talking with people on the street. We decided to have our interview on the train back to bratislava and as we did the ticket checker checked our tickets and we talked with her for a bit. then she continued on and so did we, with the interview that is. She came back and we talked more and it continued like that until we were pulling into bratislava. We had just finished the interview when she came back for the last time and asked what we had on plan. We told her that we were going to buy some water and head home because it was 8 30. she was like oh well i have a 2 hour brake right now if you want to go for coffee. we took her up on that and got water instead of coffee dont worry. We sat and talked with her for a bit at the cafe on the second floor of the station. we testified of families and how we can always learn and grow. She then was like your right we need to always be open and learn because God will give us more. The clock came to 9 00 and we said good bye but she gave us her phone number and the other Elders will be calling this week to set up. Anyways so we taught her and still got home by 9 30 it was the best way to end an Exchange.

We also had training this week and that was awesome. and i feel that this is exactly what was needed. I know that we came back and since training have been talking with everyone, and we've been trying to make sure that we not only have chosen once but everyday to do the Lords will.

Everyone can talk to others about the Gospel its easy and it is such an amazing thing that if we let God do it, he will fill all of us with what we need to say and do. I love you all and thank you for everything.

Anyways we had a great week full of teaching. One miracle that i want to share with you is that of Richard. He is a man that we contacted last week and he is really cool. so we were going to the Store and had a about an Hour extra of P day time. Elder Garner was like we cool we can talk to people on our way then. so we did so. We run into one man and talk with him about prophets and he tells us his name is Richard and that he would like to hear a bit more. We set up for tuesday

Tuesday: We show up infront of tesco and he isnt there we wait and decide to call him. He answers and tells us he can't make it but he can in about an hour. so we go back have comp study and return and he came right on time. We headed back to our building and talked with him. as we started with a prayer and then we started setting expectations and the moment we said baptism he was like cool i want to get baptised. We were like... WOW!!! okay so we talked a bit more and found out that he wasn't baptised but is really all for it. We set a date with him and set up for this week and i am really excited for him.

We saw a lot of other miracles as well and while we were tracting this week one lady explained that she loves familysearch.org and that it is like a Drug to her to do geneology work. It was awesome she took our number gave us some cakes and said that she would call to get some help and maybe then she would have a change of heart and want to hear more about God as well. but she was happy and glad that we came.

anyways so here come the picture and that was two miracles of the week

i love you all and thank you for everything.

Hello Everybody,

So i am still in Bratislava with Elder Garner and we are still Zone Leaders it is so awesome.

first i want to share an experience we had this last week with Family history. We were tracting and an old man came out and started talking to us we told him he had a really nice yard and he was like you want to come and see it. He continued to show us around and then he started asking us some questions. when he found out we were mormon he was like "you have that big history of names in your church." we were a little confused and then asked if he ment family history he said yes even i am in it. apperently he had been found by some relatives in america and i think they contacted him or something. It was cool to hear about he was really happy and even though in the end he didnt really want to hear about the message, he had been helped by family history and that was really cool to know.

Anyways we had an amazing week it was like everyday was full of five or six different miracles i have had a hard time writing about them all in my journal. on tuesday we had a man walk up to us after we contacted and talked to one man. He was like your mormons right i have some questions for you. We showed him the building and sat down with him and talked about the restoration. we havent been able to meet again yet but we should be able to this next week.

after that we were going to Peter Vaclav's house to teach him and on the tram ride there we started talking to a lady and she got off soon but then the man that took her place was like how are you where are you from and i talked with him for a bit while Elder Garner talked with some other people and by the time we get off a man that i hadn't heard talking was like good luck with you mission stuff here. it was so cool to see. then we had a great lesson and it was all so cool.

Every day after that was cool but i want to skip to friday we had our concert. It was awesome we had an investigator come and she loved it. She said that the moment she stepped in the could feel the spirit and that we were in the presence of God. She said that this is a happy place and she really loved being there. It is amazing how the spirit can help and comfort and heal people. She also said that when we were singing we had a light around us and she just loved it. I got to talk with her for a long time after and it was really cool. We have a meeting with her tomorrow so that will be awesome.

anyways i have to go now and hope everyone had a chance to find you weapon of rebelion agains God and throw it down into that hole, because that will help you so much and it will help you be ready to make the choice to stay away from it even before that becomes an option

So we only a few minutes and i left my camera at the church building so next week hopefully.

Anyways we had a great week even though we had some lessons fall through we did teach and we had some amazing spiritual experience with people. We talked about the Anti Nephi Lehis with one member and she was talking about how they made the covenant and would have rather died the brake that promise with God and then we talked about them barying their weapons and she was like i have some that i should bary and we were like so do we okay so in the End we all had the commitment to pick at least one weapon of rebellion to against God to barry and so we are all working on that. I would give you that same commitment today. Read the story of the Anti Nephi Lehis it is a few chapters long and as your read apply what they did to yourself and pick you weapon and get ride of it. Dig the hole so deep that you can even imagine having to dig it back up, and throw it down there. you can do it I believe you can.

Anyways, we also had a lot of other great chances to share spiritual experience with people and that was cool but we are about to get kicked out of the Library so we have to go but have a wonderful day and i hope that this letter finds you in peace and health and Joy.

p.s. i know that my spelling is terrible... ..... ...... sorry. but i mean you get the drift.

So this week was good. we had some great lessons with members, friends of the church, on the street and members that are coming back to the church. we really balanced out our teaching this week. It was kind of nice and a good change up. We still worked hard but we tried to work on our relationship with the members this week.

one high light do to the fact that we had so many visitors (return missionary, family from Arizona, and a czech family at church as well as our district had 6 friends of the church.) we had about 40 to 50 people at church it was amazing it like filled the whole right side and half of the left. It was really cool to see that many people there with families and all. However, I dont know what i will do when i get home that will just be way to different. But i dont think about that now.

Anyways it was cool i had a good birthday got to have lunch with some members and my entire district and some members sang happy birthday to me with a cake and an orange after we cleaned the building on saturday. it was really cool so that was a fun day. The high lights though teaching, we taught a man named marcel and also a man came up to me on the tram ride home and asked about the difference between us and catholics. it was cool to be able to explain it straight forward and he was really excepting of it.

anyways i have to go hope  this finds you all well and happy and healthy.

So this week was amazing and just so full of the spirit that i wish i could have recorded every part of it.

We had an exchange and that was really cool i was with an Elder that was a lot like i was when i was in his transfer. I really really liked that i and i know that he will have a great mission ahead of him.

Elder Kearon from the 70 came and trained us which was amazing. I would go on and on about it but i will just say this the biggest thing i learned is that i need to actually take what i learned and apply it. Sounds weird huh? Well he taught in such a way that i want to teach. he taught how to teach by his example and then he left it up to us to make our own goals and accomplish them. It was really cool.

Then we went to prague and i got a Missionary Leadership council with him and that was even cooler we talked about examples and helping others and i learned a lot about loving those that i serve and let me tell you when you pray for someone by name your  love for them grows 10 times and i know from experience that you start seeing them as God sees them that is what has changed me the most this transfer and i love everything part of it.

We have had some great times this week and i am really started to make sense of everything i have change a lot on my mission and now i can see how it is preparing me for the rest of my life. I am here and now and so is my heart might mind and strength and thus it shall be until i do have given everything i have to the Lord then he will carry me the rest of the way

I love you all sorry that i havent given to many experiences next week i will give some more. I love you all and hope this finds you well.

so i have all about 7 minutes sorry this will be quick.

So this week was great i got to go on another, exchange with Elders in Nitra my second area and that was really cool i also got to see the new building there which is awesome and bigger and it is amazing that there has been so much growth and developement of the church there. I love seeing this church grow here it is amazing to me.

Anyways on other news we will be having Elder Kearon here from the 70 this week and we get a training from him. We also will get a special one as leaders in prague on friday and we have an exchange with some elders tomorrow so we have a full week but it will be so much fun and so worth it.

I want to let you know one thing that i have learned this week and that is to make goals and actually stick with them in the Goal section of Preach my Gospel it has an amazing quote. Please read it and then remember that making goals is not enough we have to stick to them. A goal not written down is just a dream. Make a goal that is important to you, it can be small, it can be simple, it can be to just be happy everyday, but make it make a plan for it and then stick to it. please i know that it will help you see growth in the Gospel and in your personal Life.

When life gets hard and you feel that Satan is working as hard as he can against you. remember that that means there is something amazing right around the corner that you need to be prepared for spiritually and physically and Satan is just trying to stop you. So kick him to the kurb, Pray and then act you will get help and an answer we just need to show that you will do all it takes to not only hold on but press on.

OH MAN we have had a great week. Even though numbers may not show it, we talked with a lot of people and we even got to go to prague for a special training from president McConkie as leaders, it was so cool. I loved every second of it.

We got to talk to this really cool women the other day who doesnt believe because she wants taught to believe in God. We talked with her for a bit and then i sat next to her and we shared a verse from the Book of Mormon with her. she excepted one and it was really cool. we are going to call her on wednesday and see when she can meet. She asked us lots of questions and by the end we were all really excited to meet again so hopefully she will have time sooner then later. we shared 2 nephi 2 13 i think it was about experienceing good and bad. It went really well.

WE also had a branch activity, it was like the picnics in the park and it was a lot of fun we played futball and had tones of food and it was awesome.

I think the three highlights were these three things the training the picnic and the women we found.

It was truely a great week and i am so looking forward to another wonderful week.

anyways hope you are all doing well and are healthy

5-11-2015 Pictures

back to trencin

and thats my companion oh ya go Elder Garner

Christian site in Bratislava

So this week i have run out of time but wanted to send pictures mostly so it works out. We had an exchange and i was back in trencin that was weird but so cool and we had another with the assistence to the president. Also the missionaries in Bratislava got a little time to talk with Elder Alder from the 3rd quoarm of the 70. It was so cool and we got to talk about what we need to grow and we got to ask him questions and it is just an amazing thing to be a missionary. He is a great elder and you can just tell that he loves it.
The quick spiritual thought this week is this. You have a little LET IT SHINE. :) this is small and simple but it has a whole world of meaning. This week the commitment is to study christ and let him shine through you. Hold you light up and let it shine.
i love you all sorry its so short but we have to go so hope you are all well and know that i love you all.

So this week I want to write really fast so that you all know what has been happening.

Man we had an amazing week of busyness (dont even know if thats a real word but o well.)

We had an amazing training on thursday that was about teaching with members and explaining what Baptism is. Man it was a mind blower because it was so simple yet so amazingly life changing that it really helped me find a way to explain what baptism is before actually saying baptism. Baptism is a covenant with God. We talked about sometimes when we say baptism people think that we mean just coming into another church, other times it is something that their parents did for them. I am here to tell you that Baptism is a life changing thing and it is truely amazing that God has not only restored the way to Baptize but also his power to Baptize. These are truely amazing things.

Anyways we ended up having to do a lot of waiting at the building and for meeting and it seems like at the end Elder Garner said were not here to wait we are here to find and teach :) that was a mind blower for me. I mean i knew that but he just said it and it was a great powerful statement. However the Lord has a sense of humor and we ended up going to the Foreign police today to work on some visa stuff and we waited there for 4 hours, still have been able to get everything in but it is funny then we waited in longer then normal lines at the stores and everything as well and it was really funny. It made me laugh and i just looked to Elder Garner and told him oh man i know we are not here to wait but it seems like that is all we have done today. He was like no kidding. It was really funny, Him and I have a lot of things that are alike and i am so glad to get to serve with him.

Also we got his drivers licence this week so now we get to drive for at least the next 40 days for exchanges and that will be really helpful so that we can get to the different cities faster.

Next week we have an exchange with the assistents and then the next day one in trencin.

Anyways, also studied this morning and found something for you all. For me it jumped out as the secret to happiness and its that we are nothing. Mosiah 4 11 Not exactly that but that we need to rely on God and that he will lift us. We need to forget ourselves and that was it. He then talks about the blessing so the commitment this week is to read mosiah 4 it truely is great.

anyways i love you all and hope you see the amazing miracles this week.

Hello y'all hows it going

So this week was great. We have been working really hard and we have been seeing so many miracles because of it. The Lord truely does help us and he cares enough that even when we are having hard times with whatever is going on in life, he will be there and will tell us to keep going and hold on.

This week I had the chance to go back again to zvolen on an exchange and work with Elder Brown again and that was really fun we worked hard all day and bought small wooden slovak flute things to learn how to play together. Even though we are not to gether for now hopefully we get to jam out on them together some time.

We taught some amazing people and have met with one man everyday except for when we were in zvolen. we are teaching like crazy and this week we had some members with us in our lessons and holy crap i love teaching with people. I mean it is one thing to be the missionary and recieve that revelation of what to say but it is another thing completely to watch and know the interest and concurns of someone and see a member start testifying of the exact thing without preknowledge. It is truely a way to open everyone up to the spirit.

I have taught people outside and in our new building in bratislava and everywhere. Elder Garner works really hard and he is such a great missionary he has kept me busy and we are starting to really understand everything here so it all is going great.

sorry its so short but we have a lesson soon and i still have to write our mission president.

I hope that you are all wonderful. and that you know that i am so grateful that I know you. I miss you all and hope you have a wonderful week.
