This week has been great. The work is moving forward. The language is coming.

I hope that you have had a great week and that you know that the Lord is always there to help, at anytime. We must do our part and kneel and ask first though.

We met with a women about Family history and she was really interested in getting started. We are meeting with her on friday.

Prayer works. We had been praying to see the fruits of the work and a women followed us up to the church one day after we went contacting with pictures. We hadn't talked to her, but she saw us recognized us as Representatives of Christ, She didn't say that but we know thats what it was. She said she just wanted to know about our church and we were able to talk to her for quite a bit. We are going to keep trying to meet with her again.

We have been doing a lot of finding. We did a singing display where you go somewhere and half of you stand there on the street and sing, while the other half contact people. For have the time I sang and then we had to switch. This was my first time contacting without my companion. I think I did really well for how long I have been here but it still scared me.

Well I hope you are well and happy.

When life gets to hard to stand kneel, You will be closer to heaven anyways.

P.S. If anyone goes to Missionary Choir tell everyone I say Hi and someone from there asked me to look out for a missionary. Please ask everyone who asked me to do that and what was the missionaries name because I want to make sure I get the right persons hello to him. Thank you very much.

Letter to family I found interesting so I want him to remember it. 1-7-14

Here I am again Family,

It sounds like your new year celebration was a blast. I hope you know it goes great here and that I am healthy and strong (I think so anyways.)

It's great here we have a lesson tonight with a less active and he is doing great we just wanted to meet with him and get to know him a little better because he has started to come to church all the time.
We have a lot of people that said that we could call them and set up a meeting this next week so wish us luck there.

They do have that milk here mom it makes me really happy and now I can make the recipe and any others would be great. Dad I have learned that there is a lot of mushroom stuff over here. People will just go into the forest and pick them then cook them. I have started to get a taste for them I wouldn't put them in anything but if they are there I will eat them... except on pizza.

I hope all is well and that everyone is enjoying themselves. Dylan and colby are still likeing having their own rooms? are they able to keep them perfectly clean, like they said they would be able to? and who is cleaning the bathroom?

anyways We dejunked our appartment this last p day and so it is nice fresh and clean. and oh man do I love it.

So that is about it for this week I can't wait to here from you next week and hope the b of m reading is going well. I love you all

01--7-2014

Hey from Bratislava,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!  The new years is really just the same here. However, there seems to be a lot more bottles on the ground the next day... I don't quite know why.... okay I do, but people are being prepared. We had to be in by 5 we got to watch the Jungle Book, but all of us went to bed around 10 30 because we had to be up by 6 30 the next day. Oh and Fireworks go off all night and into the next day, but we still got a good night sleep.

This week has been great, it's been a lot of contacting. Lots of people here to talk to and lots of work to be done. There were some really good people that we talk to and we got some numbers for English class and a couple for the gospel.

The language is coming, we had exchanges and my comp. and I had one of the zone leaders with us. He got our hopes and excitement about contacting up and he helped us a lot with it. He also was able to help me with the Language during language study so that my companion didn't have to use his time on me (which he would have been more then happy to do.) I was able to accomplish a lot of my goals.

We had a baptism in our branch this last weekend and it was so great. The Sisters taught this man and he is such a cool man. I was able to stand in on a blessing of his a couple weeks ago and I knew that this man was prepared and ready.

I never knew how much new converts gave up until I came here. These people are some of my biggest heroes. These people have literally changed their lives, turned them around, given up things that are comforts for them. Some have lost family, some have lost everything, some have had to give up some of the only things they knew, and learn a knew set of vocabulary in order to be able to keep up. I don't think many people can see that. That is why we need members to be
willing. Be friend the converts, teach with the missionaries, help the people come and come back. We as missionaries can not do this alone because in the end Every member is a missionary.

I hope this next week treats you well, I hope everyone is over any sicknesses and that everyone has set the new years goals. I would encourage one to be read the Book of Mormon as a family. Another maybe have the missionaries over for dinner and invite a none member friend. There are so many ways and things we can do to make our lives better and one of the biggest is to lose ourselves in service.

Wish me luck on this next week and remember that when life gets to hard to stand kneel.

Here I go,
